STEEL-PRO SERIES - for cutting mild steel:
steel studs, steel sheet, steel pipe, channel, threaded rod and much, much
more.
Specially formulated C-6 carbide grade, combined with a
unique tip design, resists breakage on impact and lasts longer- much
longer than standard carbides or abrasive discs. Special tooth geometry
with "inserted" tooth design greatly improves security of the
tip, efficiency and durability.
- Rugged plates and specially formulated carbide tips
with a special tooth grind for fast, clean cuts.
- High quality cuts without the clouds of dust and
scorch marks associated with friction blades.
- Cool cuts that leave the work piece edge free of
burrs.

LUBRICATION
It's always a good idea to lubricate when you're cutting any metal. Lubing
will dramatically increase the life of the blade and give you cleaner,
smoother, quieter cuts. Industrial, high-volume shops usually use an
automatic lubing system that sprays a non-petroleum lube - obviously,
that's the best method. But if you're not operating at that level, you
should still lubricate your blade. What can you use and where can you get
it? The most common blade lube for lighter use is a wax stick, such as
this one from Rockler: http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=2331&filter=wax%20stick
Or, if you have a Home Depot near you, they (last I knew) carry a similar
stick from Oldham. Another and more high-tech solution is a water-based,
bottled spray, like this one also at Rockler.com: http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?Offerings_ID=17325&TabSelect=Details
In a pinch, you can use a shot of WD-40 sprayed directly on the teeth or
on the material.
